About your guide and host
Your English-speaking guide/host is French native and speaks Spanish as well. Véronique is a local expert craving to share with you the hidden gems of her region of origin, Aveyron as well as further afield in Occitanie.
The house you'll be staying at is her childhood home she inherited. Although originally built in 1936, the house has been entirely re-furbished over a couple years to a very high standard of comfort while keeping its character of an art-déco bourgeois home.
Véronique studied pharmaceutical sciences in France. She worked over a decade as a trained pharmacist after earning her PhD.
However, she has always had a passion for people, languages, psychology and so many other interests in life, including her children.
In 1998, after selling her own tiny pharmacy sitting in a French ski resort and almost a decade spent in the French Alpes de Haute Provence, it was time for a change.
Why not a big one?
The entire family moved across the Atlantic Ocean to settle in Canmore, in the beautiful Canadian Rockies of Alberta, Canada.
Now, she enjoys touring over a few months a year in France, sharing her passions. The rest of the time she can be seen in Canada or somewhere else.
